THE STORY
The Story
In 2002, after a season of episcopal leadership across Eastern Canada, Bishop Wilson stepped down from the bishopric and accepted the senior pastorate of West Toronto Church of God. For the next twelve years, he poured himself into the West Toronto congregation — preaching, teaching, and pastoring with the same depth and presence that had built Malton a generation earlier.
His tenure extended his influence across the city, uniting diverse believers and expanding outreach into new neighbourhoods. The wisdom he carries into YDM today was sharpened during these years — through revival services, through hard pastoral seasons, through the ordinary faithfulness of showing up week after week with an open Bible and a heart for the people.

WHAT IT BUILT
West Toronto bridged Bishop Wilson's pastoral and episcopal seasons with his founding of Yeshua Deliverance Ministries. It was the chapter where the burden for the lost — the burden that would launch YDM in 2014 — quietly took shape.
