As a Licensed Marriage Officer, Bishop Wilson leads YDM's family ministry — performing weddings, conducting pre-marital and marital counseling, and presiding over baby and child dedications. First Lady Clementina Wilson, his wife of fifty years, supports this ministry with the warmth and hospitality that has shaped countless YDM families.

Family is at the center of God's design, and YDM's Family Ministry is devoted to helping families thrive in faith and unity. Bishop Huel O. Wilson, as a Licensed Marriage Officer, brings biblical wisdom and compassion to weddings, pre-marital counseling, and marriage ceremonies. These services honor the sacred covenant of marriage and prepare couples for lifelong commitment built on a Christ-centered foundation. In addition to marriage, the ministry provides baby and child dedication services, affirming parents' desire to raise their children in the faith and committing the church community to support them. Through consistent teaching and practical biblical guidance, YDM empowers families to build homes where love, prayer, and faith are central.
The Family Ministry extends its impact through parenting workshops and family seminars that address the unique challenges of today's households. Bishop Wilson facilitates marriage enrichment retreats where couples can strengthen their bond and rediscover joy in their relationship. Whether counseling young couples, supporting parents in their spiritual responsibilities, or guiding families through difficult seasons, YDM provides care and teaching that nurture healthy, Christ-centered families. We believe that when families are strong, the church and the community become stronger as well. By providing biblical tools, supportive community, and practical guidance, the Family Ministry helps families build a legacy of faith that can be passed on for generations.
